ACT 1 – THE ROLE
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our UK&I Marketing team. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will champion digital products and digital media within Vue.
The appropriate candidate will feel at home in a highly transactional, trading environment, supporting and promoting the world’s biggest and best films, theatre productions, live gigs & sporting events, with creative, thumb-stopping campaigns.
The role is responsible for approximately 70% of cinema tickets sold to Vue customers in the UK & Ireland, with exciting growth plans, continued investment in best-in-class digital marketing tools, and is critical in supporting our current, and shaping our future, strategy.
Working with some of the world’s best loved and well-known brands, your experience to date will enable you to display a deep knowledge & experience of digital marketing, helping influence senior members of major studio & retail marketing teams.
Along with the Digital Marketing Assistant you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the D2C website, app, CRM & social media channels to maximise their effectiveness and increase traffic, conversion, customer frequency and retention.
Main Responsibilities include:
Product management
- Ownership of local website & app content, curation & management, supporting the company’s core strategies
- Management & optimisation of CRM & CVM channels, codifying best practise approaches & helping to define a feature & testing roadmap
- Deliver a personalised experience for customers, based on their previous behaviours, that drives increased engagement across our owned channels
- Ensure the success of titles in market through effective & efficient traffic driving across all digital channels with bespoke campaigns
- Work closely with key internal technology partners to support peak events
- Optimise the performance of on-site advertising to deliver the best return for studios & the business
Email
- Implement & manage email campaigns, delivering the right content to the right people at the right time
- Increase membership numbers & purchase frequency with a compelling offering
- Continual improvement of local market audience targeting, database growth and ROI
- Use audience insight & behaviours to help inform campaign strategies across other channels
- Nominate new features to feed into the CRM roadmap
Paid Media
- Brief key agencies to deliver effective media campaigns across PPC, Display and social channels
- Champion insight of Vue’s first party data with major studios to help inform their activity
- Keep up-to-date with new targeting capabilities & features across all paid media products & channels
Insight, Forecasting & Planning
- Using Adobe Analytics & Adobe Target, understand the key areas for improvement across all digital customer journeys
- Unlock insights that support the performance of core strategies across the business (pricing, seating etc.) in order to prove success and secure future investment
- Deliver weekly, monthly and annual forecasts for key metrics (traffic, conversion, transactions, performance by device etc.)
- Produce weekly KPI updates for product and digital marketing performance
- Work with key internal stakeholders to embed data as a core influencer of strategies outside of digital marketing (box office forecasting, retail offering, consumer insight etc.)
GDPR
Responsible for adherence to GDPR legislation and company guidelines.
ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED
- Digital Marketing and analytics experience gained within a fast moving, customer facing business.
- Expertise in Google Analytics and/or Adobe for analytics with campaigns across PPC, Display, YouTube and Social.
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of digital content strategies across online channels.
- Experience in the delivery of stretch growth targets: traffic, revenue and profit.
- Influenced web product development from a commercial and marketing role (ideally achieved within an agile environment).
- Knowledge of product management and technologies in the sphere of web development and CVM.
- Defined and launched digital propositions that have delivered clear business benefits.
- Able to demonstrate success in the field of ecommerce where they have leveraged CVM technologies and expertise to drive sustainable and profitable revenue growth.
- Clearly understands how CRM systems interface with other digital and POS systems to drive behavioural change amongst consumers and staff to deliver profitable growth.
- Identified, developed and executed customer insight mechanisms that deliver actionable consumer insights.
- Implemented a customer segmentation strategy that delivered tangible business results.
- Developed and put in place Customer Satisfaction measurements and identified improvements.
