ACT 1 – THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Partner to join our UK and Ireland Technical Services department. The Technical Partner is the main interface between key business functions and the Technical Services team.
Main Responsibilities include
- Developing technology roadmaps that deliver business strategies
- Partnering with colleagues in Technical Services and with partner companies to define and develop updated technology strategy and architecture
- Overseeing initiation and delivery of projects
- Ensuring projects have the best chance of successful completion
- Ensuring the business functions receive high quality service from technology teams
ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED
Essential
- Good knowledge of business processes and technologies in for corporate business areas
- Understanding of project management techniques including planning, risk management and status reporting
- Experienced in report writing: able to write-up business cases and reports
- A good sense of humour!
Desirable
- Experience gained within the Retail, Hospitality or Leisure environment
- Experience in a multi-project business such as a consultancy or agency
- Computer science qualification
