ACT 1 – THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Partner to join our UK and Ireland Technical Services department. The Technical Partner is the main interface between key business functions and the Technical Services team.

Main Responsibilities include

  • Developing technology roadmaps that deliver business strategies
  • Partnering with colleagues in Technical Services and with partner companies to define and develop updated technology strategy and architecture
  • Overseeing initiation and delivery of projects
  • Ensuring projects have the best chance of successful completion
  • Ensuring the business functions receive high quality service from technology teams

ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED

Essential

  • Good knowledge of business processes and technologies in for corporate business areas
  • Understanding of project management techniques including planning, risk management and status reporting
  • Experienced in report writing: able to write-up business cases and reports
  • A good sense of humour!

Desirable

  • Experience gained within the Retail, Hospitality or Leisure environment
  • Experience in a multi-project business such as a consultancy or agency
  • Computer science qualification
