ACT 1 – THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our Group Procurement function. Reporting into the Group Head of Procurement the Procurement Manager will have ownership for in-direct procurement across the Vue International territories.  As well as managing day to day procurement activities, the aim of the Procurement Manager will be to bring synergy and cost efficiencies across the territories by putting in place best practice procurement policies, processes and procedures.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the sourcing, negotiating and buying of the in-direct categories, this includes:
    • Marketing related services (media buying, agencies)
    • Travel management
    • IT related services (hardware, software)
    • HR related services (recruitment agencies, training)
    • Facilities management and office services (telecoms, furniture, cleaning, catering, printers)
    • Utilities (gas, electricity, water)
    • MRO (maintenance repair operation)
    • Fleet management
  • Manage ongoing supplier relationships for all in-direct procurement contracts , monitoring their performance against SLA’s
  • Manage the in-direct tender process to Source and negotiate the best commercial opportunities
  • Ensure that purchasing policies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and service targets

ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED

  • Significant experience gained as a Procurement Manager within a multi site retail, restaurant, hospitality or leisure business
  • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of managing a number of in-direct procurement categories
  • Proven experience of successfully managing a in-direct tender processes from end to end
  • Able to demonstrate experience of developing and implementing procurement policies, processes and procedures to drive efficiencies and value for money
  • Although not essential, experience working in conjunction with senior stakeholders across multiple European territories is desirable
  • A good sense of humour!
