ACT 1 – THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a FP&A Business Partner to join our UK and Ireland Finance department. Reporting into the Head of FP&A the FP&A Business Partner will support the Property function to achieve their ambitions through by producing insightful value adding analysis whilst supporting on the delivery of projects.

Main Responsibilities Include;

• Maximising business opportunities by analysing performance against the long range plan, budget and forecasts, evaluating risks, opportunities and making recommendations
• Producing accurate Board Books for potential new cinema openings
• Supporting business innovations and initiatives alongside the other Finance Business Partners and Senior Management
• Supporting continuous improvement across UK&I planning controls, processes and reporting
• Ensuring consistency of management reporting and information, in particular Property KPIs
• Providing monthly variance analysis and appropriate commentary
• Providing ad-hoc reports and analyses
• Assisting the UK&I FP&A Manager and Property Head of in the creation and delivery of a detailed overall budget
• Reviewing spend against budget, highlighting any concerns and issues
• Providing regular forecasts for KPIs within the Property department 

ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED

• Fully qualified accountant CIMA qualified (although ACA/ACCA candidates will be considered if they have sufficient commercial finance experience)
• Experience in a Commercial Finance/FP&A business partnering role within the Retail, Leisure or Hospitality sector
• Post-qualified multi-site budgeting and forecasting experience, with demonstrable accountability for delivery of key aspects of a budget/forecast
• Commercially astute and able to demonstrate business case development/project delivery in a fast-paced environment
