This role sits within the Vue International Group Function which supports all 10 territories and is based in our Chiswick Park Head Office, West London. ACT 1 – THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a Finance Systems Administrator to join our Group Finance department. Working closely with the Group Finance Systems Manager the Finance Systems Administrator will manage and maintain the UBW ERP system across all territories.

The Group Finance Systems department reports into the Group Director of Financial Control and is primarily responsible for, but not limited to, the following systems

  • UBW Milestone 7 Update 5
  • MRI Horizon
  • Cognos TM1
  • Cognos Controller (currently in development stage)

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Provide 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support for UBW
  • Provide support for Horizon & Cognos
  • Review and action all request logged on JIRA (ticket logging system).
  • Maintain master file data in all applications above
  • Troubleshoot, and resolve system issues as required
  • Monthly revaluation of the actuals, budget & forecast
  • Support the development and automation of UBW reporting from Excelerator and/or browsers
  • Streamline and customise finance workflows and processes.
  • Support end user training requirements
  • Provide support on other finance projects when required
  • Provide support on future implementations when required, test and document patches/ bug fixes before they are deployed to the live environment
  • Update user manuals / guides
  • Run adhoc report requests
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED

Essential:

  • Previous experience in Finance Systems (4 years)
  • Strong experience of UBW ERP financials (UBW modules in use are Financials (AP, AR, General ledger, Fixed assets and making tax digital), Logistics (Purchase orders & sales orders) and UNIT4 Excelerator
  • Working in a multi-currency environment
  • Strong Excelerator skills
  • Strong workflow skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate a solutions focused mind set
  • 3rd line support experience

Desirable:

  • Sound knowledge of Cognos TM1
  • Sound knowledge of Cognos Controller systems.
  • ARC/Xtra reports
  • Sound SQL skills
  • Some knowledge of VBA
