ACT 1 – THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our UK&I Marketing team. Reporting into the Head of Marketing the Digital Marketing Manager will champion digital products and digital media within Vue.

Along with the Digital Marketing Assistant they will be accountable for the day to day maintenance and delivery of the customer website, app, email & social media channels to maximise their effectiveness and increase traffic, conversion and retention.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Group Brand Manager the will ensure business brand guidelines are adhered to across all digital channels and be accountable for timely and accurate digital KPI performance and reporting.

Main Responsibilities include:

Forecasting & Planning

  • Input into LRP, budget & quarterly digital KPIs so that they reflect local slate and customer trends.
  • Produce weekly KPI updates for product and digital marketing performance as per the Group pro-forma, and ensure these are shared with Group on time.
  • Adapt digital campaigns and content according to local slate & customer behaviour.

Product management

  • Ownership of local website content, curation & management, including (but not limited to) film pages, on sale, priority lists, sold slots, embargos, trailers, local offers, retail support, new openings & re-gears.
  • Management of website, email, App CVM features on a day-to-day basis. Defining candidates with Group Product Managers for experimentation.
  • Work with Screen Content in territory to ensure on sale goals are met & product inventory is optimal.
  • Liaise with Screen Content and Technical Services to ensure all digital environments are optimised & supported for local peak events.
  • Nominate new features to feed into Movio’s roadmap through Territory Head of Marketing to Group Product Managers.
  • Weekly reporting on key metrics and performance against forecast.

Email

  • Implement & manage Territory email campaigns.
  • Deliver appropriate scale for content to support Territory email send ambition.
  • Adherence to Group brand guidelines.
  • Continual improvement of local market audience targeting, database growth and ROI.
  • Implement & manage transition to Movio (if not yet in territory) with local Movio account support.
  • Share Territory audience insight & behaviours to help inform Group campaign strategies.
  • Manage Territory adoption of Group-led email “best practice”.
  • Nominate new features to feed into Movio’s roadmap through Territory Head of Marketing to Group Product Managers.
  • Weekly reporting on key metrics and performance against forecast.

Paid Media

  • Annual planning & quarterly review of all paid media activity with Group Digital Director & Group Digital Media Planner.
  • Monthly review of channel performance with Group Digital Media Planner.
  • Brief the Group Digital Media Planner for Digital Paid Media campaigns as required.
  • Management of distributor assets, campaign approaches and shared insight for 3rd party activity (i.e. Disney / global distributor relationships).

GDPR

  • Responsible for adherence to GDPR legislation and company guidelines.
  • Escalation of any areas of concern or local regulation to Group.


ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED

  • Digital Marketing and analytics experience gained within a fast moving, customer facing business.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and/or Adobe for analytics with campaigns across PPC, Display, YouTube and Social.
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of digital content strategies across online channels. 
  • Experience in the delivery of stretch growth targets: traffic, revenue and profit.
  • Influenced web product development from a commercial and marketing role (ideally achieved within an agile environment).
  • Knowledge of product management and technologies in the sphere of web development and CVM.
  • Defined and launched digital propositions that have delivered clear business benefits.
  • Able to demonstrate success in the field of ecommerce where they have leveraged CVM technologies and expertise to drive sustainable and profitable revenue growth.
  • Clearly understands how CRM systems interface with other digital and POS systems to drive behavioural change amongst consumers and staff to deliver profitable growth.
  • Identified, developed and executed customer insight mechanisms that deliver actionable consumer insights.
  • Implemented a customer segmentation strategy that delivered tangible business results.
  • Developed and put in place Customer Satisfaction measurements and identified improvements.
