ACT 1 – THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our UK and Ireland Marketing Department. Reporting into the Head of Marketing UK&I.
The overall responsibility for the role will be to champion digital products and digital media for Vue UK&I. The Digital Marketing Manager will be accountable for the day to day maintenance and delivery of website, app, email & social media channels to maximise their effectiveness and increase traffic, conversion and customer retention. They will work closely with the UK&I Head of Marketing and Group Brand Manager to ensure business brand guidelines are adhered to across all digital channels.
Main Responsibilities include:
Product management
- Ownership of local website content, curation & management. This includes (but is not limited to) film pages, on sale, priority lists, sold slots, embargos, trailers, local offers, retail support, new openings & re-gears.
- Adapt digital campaigns and content according to local slate & customer behaviour.
- Work with Screen Content to ensure ‘on sale goals’ are met and product inventory is optimal.
Email
- Oversee email campaigns implemented by the Digital Marketing Assistant, acting as an advisory and escalation point.
Paid media
- Deliver an annual plan and conduct quarterly reviews of all paid media activity with Group Digital Director & Group Digital Media Planner.
Forecasting and planning
- Input into the long range plan, budget & quarterly digital KPIs so that they reflect local slate and customer trends.
ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Digital Marketing and analytics experience gained within a fast moving, customer facing business.
- Expertise in Google Analytics and/or Adobe for analytics with campaigns across PPC, Display, YouTube and Social.
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of digital content strategies across online channels.
- Experience in the delivery of stretch growth targets: traffic, revenue and profit.
- Influenced web product development from a commercial and marketing role (ideally achieved within an agile environment).
- Knowledge of product management and technologies in the sphere of web development and CVM.
- Defined and launched digital propositions that have delivered clear business benefits.
- Able to demonstrate success in the field of e-commerce where you have leveraged CVM technologies and expertise to drive sustainable and profitable revenue growth.
- Clearly understands how CRM systems interface with other digital and POS systems to drive behavioural change amongst consumers and staff to deliver profitable growth.
- Implemented a customer segmentation strategy that delivered tangible business results.
- Developed and put in place Customer Satisfaction measurements and identified improvements.
