ACT 1 – THE JOB
We have a rare opportunity for an Area Manager to lead our UK&I London operational region. Reporting into the Head of Operations the Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring that their cinemas and running smoothly, reaching there P&L and guest satisfaction targets whilst developing all staff in there region.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Manage and develop each cinema, to consistently be the customers first choice for cinema entertainment within their local area, by ensuring customers always experience outstanding service provided by friendly and helpful people
- Develop and deliver a business plan for their area of responsibility that maximises opportunities for profit growth, delivers the company objectives and targets within the required timescales and to the required Vue brand and operational standards
- Influence key stakeholders to focus on delivering solutions that increase profitability in individual cinemas
ACT 2 – WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED
- Experience of working as an Area Manager or equivalent across a multi sited role
- Experience of working within a management role within at least one on the following sectors; retail, restaurant, hospitality, pubs/bars or leisure
- Track record in developing teams
- Experience of being accountable and delivering a P&L
- Experience of leading a team to achieve KPI’s with guest satisfaction highly ranked
- Strong Commercial acumen
- Computer literate being a proficient user in Excel

THE CREDITS – ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a field based role covering the London Region with occasional travel to other regions. As this is an operational role you will be prepared to work some weekends and evenings.
