I applied for a job at Vue when I was 16 because the people seemed really friendly. I always loved coming to the cinema and I was fascinated to see how it all worked.
The team work well together and we help each other when it's busy plus, we meet up outside work. The Managers are approachable and as a Training Buddy I support them every day and keep an eye on new staff. I explain how to do all parts of the job and keep them up to date with everything they need to know for the shift.
I’m off to University in London soon and I’m transferring to a cinema there. If there was a Team Leader role, I could apply now that I’m 18 and do my Level 2 training – for me it is the next step up.
